Collector of replicas of ancient cultures and paper nativity scenes

My name is Ján Hertlík (1979), and I come from Slovakia, a country in the heart of Europe.

My great passion is history, ancient civilizations, and traveling. From my journeys, I bring back replicas of archaeological finds and historical objects, which I artistically enhance using painting techniques to make them resemble the originals displayed in museums around the world as closely as possible.

Over time, I have built a private collection of replicas of ancient cultures, which I present in my author exhibitions such as "Egypt – Gift of the Nile" and "Greece at the Dawn of History – from the Neolithic to Mycenae."

In addition to ancient cultures, I also focus on collecting and creating paper nativity scenes. I carefully cut them out by hand, mount them, and install them into spatial landscapes, creating unique depictions of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Part of my collecting activity is also dedicated to Christmas themes, which I present in the exhibition "Christmas," where I showcase a collection of holiday decorations.

Through my exhibitions, I strive to bring the beauty of ancient civilizations, as well as the atmosphere of traditional Christmas, closer to the public.

I am proud of my collecting and exhibition achievements in Slovakia and abroad
